Congratulations to Sam Vinton who has verbally committed to play soccer for Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011. She was recruited while playing for the Crew Jr. U17 MRL team coached by Marc Frankland, at the Orange Classic Showcase in Fort Lauderdale, FL last December. The FGCU Eagles are part of the NCAA D1 family and finished second in the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2009 with a 6-2-2 record.

Sam currently plays for the GR Crew Juniors Girls U17 MRL team and is a senior in the FHC Varsity Soccer Program. Her GR Crew Juniors coach is Lewis Robinson and her trainer and coach for the past 5 years has been Jeff Brown.
