Josh is the General Manager and Director of Coaching for the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors. He has been a long-time and well-respected coach in the Grand Rapids community for many years, coaching for GRASA, Cornerstone University, and as Head Coach for the Forest Hills Central girls program.

This past year he has coached two of GRCJ’s girls’ teams - U12’s and U16’s. His U12 team was runner-up in the NSR Tournament and won the National Indoor Championships. That talented team is currently ranked 3rd in the state of Michigan.

Josh’s U16 Girls played in the prestigious and competitive MRL and made it to the State Cup quarter finals.

As a player, Josh received All State honors at Portage Central High School and All Conference/All Region honors playing for Hope College.

Josh has served as Director of Coaching for GRASA for many years and now with GRCJ, he oversees both the Select and Premier divisions. His management abilities are well known in the soccer community as General Manager of MVP’s Sports Spot in Kentwood which he has guided very successfully for the last six years. Along with his daily oversight of the club, Josh is also part of the Columbus Crew Youth Soccer Board. Josh, and his wife Lisa, are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Avery, four years old, and Irelyn, one.
