The U11 Girls Gold team capped off a great weekend of soccer Aug. 20-21 at the Vardar Elite Cup with a win in their division. The girls went 2-1-0 in pool play against some tough competition, including two Vardar Teams and a strong Pickering team from Ontario Canada, to earn their place in the finals. There they met Vardar for the second time that day, and perservered through weather delays, and some tough opposition to bring home the championship. All of the girls played well, including some great saves by our keeper to keep a clean slate in the finals. Thanks to Coach Leo for bringing our girls together to play at the highest level, and thanks to Vardar for putting together a great event.
