Our GR Crew Juniors Boys 00’ Gold and Girls ’00 Gold teams finished their first season of 11v11 soccer with a very successful record. Both U12 teams played up a year in the U13 GVSA Elite divisions and both teams finished the season with a record of 8 wins and 0 losses. The boys scored 47 goals and only conceded 2 through their 8 games, while the girls scored 55 and conceded 0 goals.

Both teams went on to finish their season in the Scott Gallagher tournament in St. Louis playing some of the midwest’s top competition. Both teams moving into the finals of the tournament but had a great experience in some top games and learned valuable lessons.

Both teams will now look forward to an extensive winter of training, playing in a competitive 11v11 league in Wixom, and various tournaments to prepare for the spring season. In the spring season they will both participate in the newly formed Junior State Cup and move to play in the MSDSL league with many of the top teams in the state.
