August 13 - 14, 2011: Michigan Challenge Cup, Lansing, MI

2nd Place Finish:

• Beat Bloomfield Force 96 Purple 1 - 0: Sophie Zamarripa scores in the second half.
• Game cancelled due to weather against TNT Dynamite 96 Red.
• Defeated the Waterloo Wild out of Canada 3 - 1: First Half Goal by Michele Streekstra; Second Half Goals by Courtney Furmaga and Kayla Hansen.
• Lost to Canton Celtic in the Finals 1 - 0.

August 20 - 21, 2011: Vardar Elite Tournament, Detroit, MI

• Tied LCSC 96 Meteors 1 - 1; Ashlee Moran, assisted by Kiffanie Tanner, scored in the middle of the second half; LCSC scored in the last 10 seconds off a corner kick to tie the game.
• Lost to Waza FC East 96 Black 3 -1; Kiffanie Tanner scored the only goal in the second half.
• Lost to Michigan Jaguars 96 Green 1 - 0.
• Lost to Vardar 4 - 1; Sarah Curtis scored the lone goal in the second half.

August 27 - 28, 2011: Grand Rapids Crew Cup, Grand Rapids, MI

• Lost to the Michigan Hawks 96 Red 3 - 0.
• Beat TKO U16 Premier Girls White team 6 - 0; First half goals were scored by Ashlee Moran, Sophie Zamarripa, and Megan Hollingsworth; In the second half, Kiley Kreple scored two goals and Courtney Furmaga had one goal.
• Lost to RSC Lightning 96 White 2 - 0. 

September 1, 2011: Congratulations to Kiley Kreple, Rachel McSween, Megan Hollingsworth, and Sophie Zamarripa elected team captains!

September 7, 2011: State Cup game vs. SCOR: Lost 2 - 1. Sophie Zamarripa scored the lone goal in the second half.

September 11, 2011: vs. Rochester Soccer Club Lightening: Win 2 - 1.  Kiffanie Tanner scored in the first half and was followed by Ashlee Moran scoring 10 minutes later.  Goalie, Erin Pupel made some great stops in the second half to keep the game in our favor.

September 17, 2011: State Cup game vs. P.S.G. Michigan Gators 96 Orange: Lost 3 - 0.

September 18, 2011: State Cup game vs. Canton Celtic 96 Black: Tie  0 - 0 (called due to darkness).

September 25, 2011: vs. TNT Red: Lost 5 - 0.

October 8, 2011: vs. Phoenix Soccer Inc. 96 Girls Orange: Won 1 -0.  Emily Adams scored in the second half attempting to send a cross by the net.

October 9, 2011: vs. Canton Celtic 96 Black: Won 2 - 0.  Taniah Ingram scored in first half to take the lead.  Then Ashlee Moran scored for us in the second half to secure the win.
