Alex Prout in USL Super Y National Finals
December 8, 2010

Alex Prout from the Grand Rapids Crew Girls U14 MRL team coached by Marc Frankland recently competed in the USL Super Y National Finals with the U13 Chicago Fire - Michigan Team. She played for Grand Rapids Crew DOC Josh Sheldon with several teammates from the U14 MRL team. The top 12 teams from the summer Super Y League were invited to the National Finals held in Tampa, FL. There were over 200 girls in the U13 age group that competed. After the tournament was completed, the United Soccer League Technical Coaching Staff selected an All Tournament Team based on performance, stats, and tournament coach’s nominations. We are proud to announce that Alex was 1 of 12 girls selected to the All Tournament Team by the USL Technical Coaching Staff.
