The Girls U11 Gold won their second tournament of the spring season at the Novi Jaguar Invitational on May 7-8. They performed well and went undefeated against some of the top competition in Michigan to win the tournament. After a 2-2 tie in what wasn’t their best opening performance against a strong LCSC team, the girls started to return to form with a convincing 4-0 win against Waza. They booked their place in the finals on Sunday with 5-2 win against the Novi Jaguars. The final was set up against the Hawks, who are currently ranked #1 team in Michigan. After a tense, goalless first half the girls put in a great second half performance and scored 2 goals for a 2-0 win. Congratulations to all of the team for a very successful weekend.
