They did it again...

After winning an indoor championship earlier this Spring at Grand Valley, the Girls U11 Silver teamed proved they could win outside as well with a 2-0 championship victory over the TNT at the Novi Jaguar tournament.

Building off a commitment to defense during winter training, the girls posted 3 shutouts and only allowed two goals with some outstanding goalie work by four different girls. Offensively the girls scored from all over and showed some nice ball movement and unselfish play. Coach David Salisz commented on how he appreciated the support from several Crew coaches that came out to support the girls including a spirited, fiery halftime pep talk from fellow Crew coach McKenzie Cole. The girls are continuing to gain confidence through their hard work and seemed to really enjoy the opportunity to spend time with each other off the field as well.
